MOUNT MARTHA

Situated on the water-front cliffs of the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, Australia, the brief was to design a Beach House that made the most of the views; west to Port Phillip Bay heads, and north to Melbourne CBD. The design uses the telescoping angles of the north and south property boundaries to project the internal spaces towards the magnificent expanse of the bay, whilst also maximising the long northern facade to create sunlight-filled livable spaces. The 756m2 property includes 4 bedrooms, 3 internal living areas, 2 external living spaces, 3 bathrooms, a 4 car garage, and a lap pool.
